Ace Ethanol in Stanley, Wisconsin will soon be the first ethanol plant to operate with two Ronning dryers. Alex Samardzich, President of Ace Ethanol, did his homework before selecting a Ronning dryer for their facility. “As a result of a lot of due diligence, I found the Ronning dryer seems to work better than the competition. It has lower operating temperatures and more efficiencies," Samardzich said.

When it came time to expand Ace’s operation in 2004, Samardzich selected a second Ronning dryer.

"I think it’s the best dryer out there on the market,” he said. “It’s the most efficient for tons of DDGS dried.” Samardzich has been pleased with the quality of dried distillers grains with solubles (DDGS) produced at the Wisconsin plant.

Ronning dryer systems have been installed in 17 states and in Canada.
